Need some spring to look forward too? There’s plenty of warmer weather on its way and lots of spring fun to be had. Especially over the Easter weekend. Montrealers will be out in full force, enjoying the weather and festivities. From Easter egg hunts to sugar shacks; there’s something for everyone Easter weekend 2015 in Montreal. Easter Brunch in Montreal

There are more choices for an Easter weekend brunch than we could ever list! If you have your own favorite, be sure to reserve your table in advance. If you’re visiting, try one of these out:

  • Espace la Fontaine.  For reservations call 514-280-2525. Brunch is from 10am to 3pm. You can expect delicious meals for the entire family. You’ll find the Bistro in Parc Lafontaine at 3393 Ave. du Parc Lafontaine
  • Engaufrez-vous. For reservations call 514-845-7070. This is a great place for brunch any day of the week! Easter weekend will be delicious for all tastes. Located at 8 Rachel Est. Montreal.

Montreal Sugar Shacks

Nothing can top the experience of a true Quebec-style sugar shack. From the hot, sugary-smoky smells, to sipping a little (or lot of) fresh maple syrup, there’s nothing else like it!   • Maple Kiosk, near the Biodome. Two places to visit: Place Marie Victorin and Frederic Back Tree Pavilion. Open from 11am to 4pm. 4101 rue Sherbrooke Est. If you’re not sure how to find the kiosk, ask at the Biodome reception centre.
  • Cap St. Jacques Nature Farm/Park. This ecological farm located in Cap-St. Jacques Nature Park is a perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon. Open from 10am to 4pm each day, no reservations required. 183, Ch. du Cap-Saint-Jacques in Pierrefonds.
  • Scena. Not an actual sugar shack, but if you’re visiting here on business, take in some of their sugar-season inspired menus. Delicious and upscale, this is fine cuisine gone maple. Reservations at 514-503-9802. Open Friday through Sunday. Located in the Pavillon Jacques-Cartier in the Old Port.

Easter Farms/Zoo

Once you’ve booked accommodation Montreal, a trip to one of our exciting Easter-themed farms/zoos will bring smiles from the whole family. You have a few options to choose from:

  • Galeries des sources: A family friendly petting zoo, open from March 26 to April 4, 2015. Located at 3237 Des Sources in Dollard des Ormeaux (West Island).
  • Carrefour Angrignon Easter Farm: Starting April 4, 2015. A super cool petting farm with over 100 animals to discover! 7077 Newman Boulevard, Lasalle QC. (Southwest Island).
  • Zoo Ecomuseum: Easter egg hunts, make-up, chocolate and the Easter Bunny are all on hand at the Ecomuseum! April 4 to 5, 2015. 21125 Ch. Ste-Marie, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue (West Island).
